Returns & Exchange Policy – Modo Homes

At Modo Homes, every product is inspected for quality before dispatch. Because many of our items are made to order or fall under hygiene‑sensitive categories, we do not accept returns or issue refunds. Please review product descriptions, dimensions, and images carefully before completing your purchase.


No‑Return Policy
  • All sales are final. Once an order is delivered, it cannot be returned for a refund or store credit.

  • We encourage customers to verify colour, size and product specifications prior to checkout. If you have questions, contact our support team before placing the order.


Exchange Policy – Within 5 Days of Delivery

We allow one‑time exchanges for the specific circumstances listed below. Exchange requests must be raised within 5 calendar days of delivery.

Item received is damaged in transit Yes Exchange for the same item
Wrong item delivered Yes Exchange for the correct item ordered
Manufacturing defect (verified by our team) Yes Exchange for the same model
 

If the requested item is unavailable, you may select a product of equal or higher value and pay the price difference. If no suitable replacement exists, a store credit will be issued at our discretion.

Conditions for Exchange
  1. Unopened and unused: Item must be in original condition, with all packaging, labels and accessories intact.

  2. Unboxing video required: Record a continuous video from the moment the sealed parcel is opened; this is mandatory evidence for damage or mismatch claims.

  3. One exchange per order: Multiple exchanges on the same order are not permitted.

  4. Pickup verification: Our courier will inspect the item during pickup. Products failing quality checks will be returned to you, and the exchange request will be cancelled.

How to Initiate an Exchange
  1. Email modohomes.india@gmail.com with the subject line “Exchange Request – Order #MHxxxx”.

  2. Include in the email:

    • Order ID and registered phone number

    • Issue type (damage, wrong item, manufacturing defect)

    • Clear photos of the product and the shipping label

    • Link to or attachment of the full unboxing video

  3. Our support team will respond within 2 working days with further instructions and arrange a pickup if the request qualifies.


Items Not Eligible for Exchange
  • Products marked “Final Sale” or “Clearance” on the product page

  • Customised or personalised items

  • Products without original packaging, accessories, or labels

  • Requests submitted after the 5‑day exchange window


Processing Time
  • Approved exchanges are dispatched within 3–5 working days after we receive and verify the returned item.

  • Store credits (if offered) are issued within 7 working days of verification.
